Why do you write or busy yourself in books? For me it was an escape in a time I had zero control. I have journals and notebooks filled with the angsty ramblings of a child that could not process the trauma she was going through that seemed to take up every aspect of her life. I will honestly never forget Mr. Taylor my first English teacher that saw some kernal of potential in me when I quite literally saw no value in myself. That one conversation sparked this dream that I’m now about to fulfill
